Hazard Mitigation

This model ordinance provides a template to help cities in Minnesota, without official flood hazard boundary maps, draft floodplain regulations. Provisions address permit requirements, permit application, duties of the city clerk, review of the permit application, review of subdivision proposals, water supply system, sanitary sewage and waste disposal systems, annexations and extraterritorial jurisdiction, definitions, penalty, abrogation and greater restriction, separability, and effective date.
