Hazard Mitigation

The city’s comprehensive plan includes extensive policy recommendations that address flood and geological hazard mitigation.  

The plan’s Natural Environment Element includes background on frequently flooded areas and geohazard areas. It includes three goals and multiple policies for frequently flooded areas (NE.10.00–NE.12.04). And it includes a goal and multiple policies for geologic hazard areas (NE.14.00–NE.14.04)
