Hazard Mitigation

The county’s comprehensive plan includes extensive hazard mitigation policy recommendations in its Safety Element. 

This element provides background, goals, and policies for a holistic approach to hazard mitigation as wells as for fire, geologic and seismic, flooding, hazardous materials, and airport hazard mitigation separately.
