Hazard Mitigation

This functional plan details a hazard mitigation strategy for the incorporated jurisdictions and unincorporated areas of the county. Its recommendations advance four objectives: 

• Reduce or eliminate risks to life and property 

• Reduce risks to critical facilities and infrastructure 

• Promote hazard mitigation 

• Increase public awareness of hazard risks
