Planning and Zoning Enabling Laws

This report summarizes the extent to which each state has made recent (circa 2005) changes to its planning and zoning enabling laws. It provides state profiles of residential land-use laws and assesses land-use regulations in each state by given metrics based on activity, supportive municipal regulation, and regulation of appellate courts.
