Brownfields Redevelopment

This report compares five brownfield and infill development projects to comparable greenfield development projects. It concludes that brownfield and infill development projects have significantly greater positive impact than conventional development alternatives. Study locations include Seattle, Washington; Baltimore, Maryland; Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota; Emeryville, California; and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.
