Planning and Zoning Enabling Laws

This article explores the consistency requirement between state regulated zoning ordinances and comprehensive plans. It discusses the influence of the Standard Enabling Acts of the 1920s in furthering legislation in planning and zoning enabling laws. The article examines the consistency requirements of Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Kentucky, Maine, Nebraska, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Oregon, Washington, and Wisconsin.
