Planning and Zoning Enabling Laws

This act mandates the authority granted to cities and local governments for better land use planning in the United States. The act served the needs of city officials and local governments to enact comprehensive plans, planning commissions within government offices, and zoning ordinances for the best use of public and private infrastructure. Individual chapters include:
