Shared Mobility

This report, prepared in collaboration with the County of Hawaii and the Ulopono Initiative, explores opportunity areas, strategies, and implementation guidelines to achieve the County's goals of providing affordable, reliable, and clean transportation. Different chapters present a detailed analysis of the land use and commuting patterns on the island, the existing public and private transit services, and the policies that enable these services. Chapter 3 offers mobility goals and strategies to help the island increase residents' and visitors' access to transportation services while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and exploring new mobility approaches.
