Shared Mobility

This report presents strategies to increase shared mobility in Los Angeles based on existing and emerging shared-mobility modes in the area. This report includes a framework and action plan for the city that consists of six core principles to maximize the benefits associated with shared mobility. Some of the recommendations include:

• Embedding equity outcomes while designing programs and projects to increase mobility in underserved, low-income communities.
• Designing seamless technology systems that allow easy planning, booking, and payment of mobility services.
• Encouraging data sharing between shared mobility providers to improve the service.
