Shared Mobility

This report examines three European cities with established and innovative shared mobility services to help inform programs in the United States. The study shares the main reasons that contribute to the success of shared-use mobility programs in Brussels, Munich, and Paris as public-private partnerships, contracting methods, transit agency leadership in programs, and other actions to reduce the use of personal vehicles. Chapter 5 of this report explores opportunities to apply the findings of the study in the United States at the federal, state, and local levels.
