Shared Mobility

This briefing paper examines how innovative mobility technology was the main factor in improving the demand-responsive transportation system in an isolated, rural area. This paper covers the development of RideSheet, a simple tool using transactional data specification (TDS) to support scheduling requirements in rural communities and small transit providers. RideSheet helped two on-demand transit providers in Lake County, Oregon track and exchange trip data with each other for a more efficient transportation service.
