Shared Mobility

This case study examines the Wheels2U Microtransit Service, which started as a pilot on-demand ridesharing program, was adopted as a permanent transit program in Norwalk, CT, and became the first microtransit service in the state. Implemented as a public-private partnership, the program leverages resources from the Norwalk Transit District and a private platform to manage and assign on-demand trips.
