Shared Mobility

This case study explores Seattle's permitting program for private, dockless bike-share companies, developed to enable and regulate the rapid expansion of bike-sharing in the city. Different sections give an overview of the history of the program, the goals and outcomes, the permit requirements developed, and the lessons learned from the program.
