Shared Mobility

The consolidated city’s vehicle for hire code contains regulations for the deployment, use, and operations of shared mobility devices within the jurisdiction (Article IV). It provides definitions, permit requirements, data sharing requirements for operators, and restrictions that apply to the users of the service. The code establishes a shared mobility devices management committee and authorizes this committee to issue supplemental rules and regulations related to shared mobility (§98-206).
