Social Equity

This report highlights the forces that contribute to resegregation and the collective costs of resegregation and discusses what planners and other community leaders need to do to promote and maintain racial diversity. Individual sections address the high cost of housing discrimination and resegregation, how the classic model of resegregation works, factors that contribute to preserving resegregation, a comprehensive program to preserve racially diverse communities, and new directions in research, strategy, and policy.
