Climate Change

This function plan contains actions to help the city achieve its goals to reduce the impacts of climate change and build resilience to its risks. The Climate Mitigation section focuses on actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, including reducing building energy consumption, reducing vehicle miles traveled and increasing the use of sustainable modes, and preserving and restoring the city’s urban canopy and green spaces. And the Climate Resilience section focuses on evaluating potential impacts and preparing the city and community.
