Climate Change

The town’s zoning by-laws address the impacts of climate change. It establishes a floodplain overlay district to help limit development in areas subject to flooding, reduce or prevent public health emergencies resulting from surface and groundwater contamination, and minimize monetary loss and public health threats resulting from storm damage (§8.1).
