Electric Vehicle Infrastructure

This standalone policy intends on increasing widespread access of electric vehicle charging to prepare for EV adoption, improve air quality, and achieve the city’s climate goal. The policy applies to new developments along with substantial expansions of certain commercial buildings. It requires 2% of parking spaces to have EV charging stations, and 10-20% of parking spaces to be EV capable.
