I am passionate about sustainability and great cities! My education is in environmental sciences with emphasis on city and regional plans and water resources. I have been working as a city and regional environmental planning consultant for three decades. My experience includes entitlements and mitigation planning for the development of all types of land uses and infrastructure projects. I am a member of CalBRE 01984449.
Professional Biography
Lori E. Trottier has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning with emphasis in City and Regional Planning and Water Resources, awarded 1985. She has a Certificate in Land Use and Development Planning from the University of California at Irvine, awarded 1989. Ms. Trottier has 30 years of professional experience as a consulting city and regional planner and environmental planner throughout southern California. Her experience includes entitlements, permits and plans involving local, state and Federal agencies as well as non-government organizations. Her work has focused on reducing environmental impacts of development through redesign and mitigation planning. One of her recent projects is a redesigned local park, which incorporated a groundwater remediation facility, resulting in a 1M grant to the City of Ontario, California for public improvements. Ms. Trottier has been a member of the American Planning Association for nearly three decades, a member of American Institute of Certified Planners for 2 decades and has recently become a Certified Environmental Planner. She has also served as Planning Advisor to the Orange County Board of Supervisors and City of Aliso Viejo for a period of 8 years between 1996 and 2005. She is currently serving as an Ambassador for the American Planning Association.
