About Me

Grant grew up hiking the Rocky Mountains in Colorado with his three brothers and building model railroads with his Grandfather, the son of a Denver Streetcar Operator.  Grant enjoyed transportation from a young age.  After High School, he started at the entry role of equipment service and moved through customer experience and information development roles while earning his degree from the Toulan School of Urban Studies and Planning at Portland State University.  Upon completing his degree in 2010 and joining TriMet’s Service Planning group, Grant has been instrumental in leveraging private development to improve rider amenities, delivering new service from long-range plans through new state funding, and most recently leading the Forward Together Bus Network Redesign.  Grant and his husband have lived in Portland since 2005 and have two sons.  They enjoy scuba diving, kayaking, and hiking whenever they get the chance.
