Professional Biography
John graduated with a PhD from Arizona State University in 2006, researching public engagement, decision making and planning rhetoric/persuasion. He completed a Masters at the University of British Columbia in 1997 researching virtual communities and knowledge base development. He has worked at the County, Provincial and City jurisdictional levels in both Canada and the US and is certified in both planning and building in both countries. He has presented within national, conference and academic environments. He is currently the Director of Planning and Development Services with the City of Prince Albert, a dynamic northern City in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada, on the edge of the beautiful boreal forest.
