About Me

Meg grew up in the shadow of Vermont’s Mount Mansfield, hiking and skiing in the Green Mountains. Every summer she and her brothers would sail the waters of Fishers Island Sound with their architect father in Connecticut.

Meg attended Michigan State University for her degree in Landscape Architecture, spending a term abroad touring and researching New Towns in Great Britain, and getting to know the breadth of the profession.

She returned to New England to accrue the experience needed to become a registered landscape architect.  While working with the Landplan Partnership and its successor firm, Jack Curtis & Associates in Connecticut, Meg was sent to Columbus, Indiana as the project manager for the Cummins Headquarters site development. She started a practice there with John Kinsella in 1986. John was the on-site representative of architect Roche Dinkeloo Associates for the Cummins project, who relocated to Columbus from Michigan. After 10 years in Columbus [IN], Meg and John moved their practice and home to downtown Indianapolis where they enjoy an urban and walkable lifestyle.
